Journalist Matt Fleming Interview on Freedom of the Press

Matt Fleming is a senior reporter for The Herald newspaper in Plymouth.  He is the education correspondent and has worked for The Herald for 9 years.  In this time he has witnessed the many changes in the paper and helped to shape its development. 

In his interview Matt explains these developments and changes. Within the next 5 posts you can find out from a professional opinions on freedom of the press, media audiences, libel law and social networking and digital technologies.

I started with asking Matt:

‘How do you think freedom of the press in the UK differs from other countries?’

Matt gave his thoughts and spoke about restrictions in Dubai, as well as the difference in freedom since the emergence of the internet.
